Having a properly seasoned cast iron skillet is so important if you’re using it often for cooking. It makes a huge difference and it’s incredibly simple! Just oil it well with oil of your choice (I prefer olive or coconut), and bake upside down in the oven at 375ºF for an hour. Allow it to cool in the oven and use it to make delicious recipes such as my zucchini and bell pepper frittata or a cashew skillet cookie (recipes coming soon!).
