Kale Salad with Nasturtiums and Roasted Chicken

Yesterday morning towards the end of my run, I discovered an entire patch of wild nasturtiums along the side of a very isolated street in Hope Ranch. I picked them immediately and began dreaming up various combinations of salads, smoothie bowls, and sauces with bright flowers sprinkled on top. This salad is just as delicious as it is beautiful and is completely customizable. I would recommend adding some avocado and tahini dressing before mixing it and polishing the whole thing off with black pepper. Enjoy!

Recipe for Kale Salad with Nasturtiums and Roasted Chicken

Massage kale gently in olive oil and set aside. Simply gather all of the ingredients you would like in your salad and prepare them. I used yellow onion, tomatoes, celery, avocado, and roasted chicken. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with your favorite salad dressing. Enjoy!
