This smoothie bowl is perfect for summer mornings when you wake up craving a nutrient-dense cooling smoothie bowl. It will easily keep you full until lunch and satisfies any craving because like all of my smoothie bowls, it’s customizable! Instead of spinach, you could add any leafy green or even spirulina. If you don’t have dried persimmon on hand, feel free to add dried cherries, apricot, or perhaps some of my Cherry Apricot Granola!
Recipe for Superfood Smoothie Bowl with Hemp Hearts and Dried Persimmon
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 large handfuls of spinach
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup mixed berries
- protein powder of choice
- 1 tbs flaxseeds
Method
- Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender for about 2 minutes or until smooth and creamy and top with hemp hearts, banana, almond butter, and dried persimmons. Enjoy!
