I have had all kinds of turkey burgers and Sophia’s are quite simply the best. I usually make mine with shredded zucchini and carrots, but sometimes that can get in the way of the actual flavor of high-quality ground turkey. Also, shredding the veggies and squeezing out the liquid was not exactly a time-friendly task. What really amazed me about Sophia’s is how easy they are to make and how well they go with just about anything. These are simple yet so delicious that I savor every bite. I’m not ashamed to admit I ate 3 of them in 2 days… they were that tasty. Serve these with a big green salad and lots of avocado.

Recipe for Sophia’s Best Turkey Burgers
- 1 lb ground turkey (thigh meat)
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs greek seasoning
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and using your hands, mix very well.
- Form into four patties and refrigerate in an air tight (very important!!!) container until cooking.
These will keep well raw in the fridge for about 2 days but cook or freeze after that!
